    When I was looking to buy this theme i really liked and needed the layout of

    >Portfolio

    >Gallery

    I need that grid style for my site but I need that layout to be the homepage.

    Is this possible?

    Sure you can achieve that by using Portfolio content element in your site home page as shown in the attached screenshot.
