Hey guys is it possible to upload SVGs for my logo? Your Logo-images are very blurry. What is the best size to replace the jevelin-logo for retina screens? Adding @2x doesn’t help. Thank you.

    Hi @Skow,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s displaying fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme.

Is it displaying blurry for you only on retina display?

Could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?

Yes you can use SVG images for the logo but for that you have to allow SVG image uploads on your site as described on this page http://freewptp.com/fix-wordpress-issue-sorry-this-file-type-is-not-permitted-for-security-reasons/ or just use the attached custom plugin on your site.

    Best regards,

Hey, thanks for you quick reply.

    You can test it on:

    Deutsche Sandwich-Kultur.

It’s stretching the Logo (Original Dimensions:482×107) to half the width of the website. It’s blurry, right? I just want to have nice and crisp. Merci again.

Please make sure to set Header Logo Sizes option to Original in the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

Hello again. Great it works. But how to handle the logo ion the footer information widget? Is there somewhere a setting to stop streching it up? Merci

The footer logo always display in the original size and gets resized based on screen width so there isn’t any settings for it.

Hey.  I have basically the same problem.  If I use a hi-DPI logo, it appears big (and also blurry) and no scaled versions are produced or used for lo-DPI viewports.  I am forced to use a lo-DPI image to make the size render properly, but it is still blurry.  I am using a .PNG for the logo.  As mentioned above, logo size is already set to “original”.  How do I make it support multiple logo images for different devices?

Am I forced to use an SVG to solve this problem?  I hope not.

    Thanks!

@erikj80303 You can set different logo in the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

Thanks.  But I did put my logo in there as “logo 1” — it just doesn’t seem to handle it as a high DPI image.

You can see what I did with the logo at: hightechsauna.com

That image is 210px wide and appears blurry on retina devices.  I can put in an image there that is 420px wide, but it will show 4x as big on all devices, messing up the formatting, and be just as blurry.

@erikj80303 I understood your issue and will consider it as feature request to support high DPI logo image in the theme.

We will add this feature in the future version of theme but currently you have to use SVG image as described above.

Hello, I can’t get the header background image or titlebar background images to call @2x for retina screens. I’ve figured out how to do it with the logo by just uploading the original file @ twice the actual dimensions @ setting the header logo as half of that.  Is there something in the stylesheet preventing @2x file names from loading? Thanks!

@wingman This is old topic and to help us keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.

If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.

We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.
