    Hi team,

     

    I have a rather weird question. I just saw that the new theme update is out, but on my WP dashboard it doesn’t give me the the option to update from there? So my question is, how do I update the theme, without losing all my CSS files data and settings? If I use FTP to overwrite it, im sure I will some data (or not?).

    I am having a similar problem, I navigate to the theme, and WordPress does not show an option to delete theme even though not the active theme so I can re-install the updated theme.

    Child theme way worked for me. basically install and use the javelin-child theme… activate it and delete the javelin theme and the same time re-upload the updated javelin theme.

    it worked for me that way.
