I just got this theme and after some bumps I have it running just the way I like it so thank for building something solid.

Just a quick question. In the posts you have an option set up for removing the featured image from the post. I very much like this option and was wondering if you offer it for the gallery image slider in the Portfolio projects?

I would like to remove them from the slider on a project by project basis (like the posts) but I obviously could also work with a blanket removal of the function.

Please let me know if you have already thought of this or am I going to have to work with the code?

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Solution for this topic

    Hi Brett,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can try removing featured image from portfolio gallery by using the attached custom child theme of Jevelin theme that contains some custom code.

    Best regards,

    Hi everybody!!

I’m new on the forum but I already thank you for all the past posts.

    I’ve the same problem.

I update the theme child by ftp (filezilla) but i don’t see any difference inside javelin setting.

You sudgested to copy some link from the zipped folder of the theme child but I’m confuse of which one should I copy to delete the first image (out of resolution). Can you be more precise? Thank you very much

    Done thanks!!

The solution was to install the theme child directly from WP and shift to the new child theme!!

@gs762698 You are always welcome here 🙂

Is there a code you can provide to add into an existing child theme?  Thank you 🙂

@Claudiasimon You can just add the attached portfolio directory in your child theme jevelin-child/framework-customizations/extensions/ directory.
