    Hi,
I customized the theme with my settings, but I still have some weird mismatches.

    • The site logo set by me is not shown, the default Jevelin logo is shown instead.
    • In the wordpress “customize” screen the list of options is shown twice, so each entry is repeated and the settings do not match between the two entries.
The ones I set up from the “customize” in the backend are shown in the “first” items. The latter instead show the default settings of Jevelin.
    • Copyright information, such as logo text etc., are not shown as set by me.
    • Uploading media files with Jevelin running is in the wrong folder (2016/05 when it should be 2021/03). It only happens with Jevelin, with other themes the problem disappears.
    • I’ve tried removing Jevelin, doing a fresh install, deactivating plugins, but nothing changes.
    • Other small bugs accompany this list, even some layout bugs.

It’s a pretty frustrating situation considering I’ve just started using the theme.

Let me know if you need any other information and / or credentials.

    Thank you.

    Hi @aiapescara,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

Please make sure that you are using the below latest version of the theme.

Please login to access this file

Also, please try deactivating the Unyson plugin that is deprecated.

If you are still facing the issue then would you mind if I log in to your site and do quick troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share the account login details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able to see it)”?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hi,

    thank you for the reply.

I’m using the 5.0.1 beta version, and deactivating Unyson it seems that some of the problems are solved.

Let me check it out a little more, if i need more support i will give you the admin user account. If not, i will confirm you that everything is ok!

    Best regards.

    Hi,

most of the problems are solved, but the uploaded files continue to be uploaded into the wrong folder (2016/05 instead of 2021/03).

I’ll give you the admin user to check out the site in the private info field.

This is your WordPress setup issue and not the theme issue so please contact your website hosting provider to resolve it.

    HI,

i’m sorry but i can confirm that is a theme bug, not a wordpress core bug.

If i switch to another theme the problem is solved.

I tried to test it by uploading the image on your website but I got an error as shown in the attached screenshot.

It seems from the error that this is server related issue.

You can try resolving the issue as described on the below pages.

Your img has been uploaded. I can find it in the media library, but as i was trying to explain to you, has been uploaded in the wrong directory (2016/05).

You can also spot in the library the file named “mt-sample-background.jpg”, this file has been uploaded by a plugin and is in the right directory (2021/03) as referred by the link i leave to you in the private field.

The error shown to you don’t seems to appear to me during the upload, I uploaded so much contents in the last days… Maybe was a temporary server error.

The theme doesn’t control in which directory to save the image files.
