I’m looking for an option to creat a search form in my navigation menu – is there any possibility I overlooked?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Solution for this topic

    Hi Jan,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can enable the search option in the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshots.

You can use the below plugin for more advanced menu search options.

    Best regards,

    Thank you very much!

Is there any option to change the arrow downwards symbol inside the navigation menu?

We can change it to any of the below-listed icons by developing custom CSS code.

Thanks a lot! Last question about the search form:

Is there a possibilty to change the predefined text “search here” to another text?

    Thank you very much!

    Solution for this topic

You will have to develop custom code to change that text.

Alternatively, you can try using any of the following plugins to change it.

I’d like to do it by myself via custom code.

How & where can I do it?

    Solution for this topic

The search form code is in the below theme files.

    /jevelin/inc/headers/header-search.php

    /jevelin/inc/elements/header-builder/mobile.php  On line number 201

    /jevelin/inc/headers/header-mobile.php On line number 55

    /jevelin/inc/helpers.php On line number 2148

Thank you very much! It works perfectly!

Is there any reason why sticky header – function doesn’t work currently?

You are most welcome here 🙂

To help us keep support thread separates could you please create a new thread for each of your other questions instead of asking them in your single thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.

If you want to you can also add a reference to this thread in your newly created thread.

We would be more than happy to help you with your new thread.
