    I have created a blog category, and will use it the “category” as a page that people can access blog posts tagged as that specific category.

    I have not found the ability to edit the elements on the page.  For example, I would like to remove the sidebar and other things on the page.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @staterequirement,

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    The category page is a dynamic page so there isn’t any theme option to edit it but we can try editing it developing custom CSS code.

    Could you please share me the category page URL from your site and tell me what you want to edit in it so that i can help you to achieve it?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    I would like to remove the sharing buttons that are on the left side of this page, and the sidebar.

    Thank you!

    You can achieve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.

    Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

    .archive.category .a2a_kit {
        display: none;
    }

    #page-container #content {
        width: 100%;
    }

    #sidebar {
        display: none;
    }

    Sadly this code removes the sidebar from all of my pages.

    I am trying to target the category pages specifically.

    Solution for this topic

    Then please try using below CSS code instead of above.

    .archive.category .a2a_kit {
        display: none;
    }

    .archive.category #page-container #content {
        width: 100%;
    }

    .archive.category #sidebar {
        display: none;
    }

    I have resolved the issue by going around it.

    Thank you!

    You are most welcome here 🙂
