Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › error 51: SSL peer certificate when installing Yellow Pencil Pro plugin
Hi, I have your theme installed in one of the websites in my WordPress network. The theme is installed and active on my network. I have just upgraded from version 2.5.5 to 2.6.3 and on the website that is using Jevelin, I get this notice:
This theme recommends the following plugin: Yellow Pencil Pro: Visual CSS Style Editor. The following recommended plugin is currently inactive: WooCommerce. Begin installing plugin | Begin activating plugin | Dismiss this notice
When I click on ‘begin installing plugin’, I get this error message:
An error occurred while installing Yellow Pencil Pro: Visual CSS Style Editor: Il download non è andato a buon fine. cURL error 51: SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK.
Could it be because I need to install the plugin on my network before being able to activate it for single websites? If yes, how do I do that?
Thank you for your help.
Hi @thelondonschool,
Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.
This can be your site or server related issue.
Would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will bee able see it.”?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Hello,
find the information to log into our website in the ‘private information field’.
Please let me know if you can solve the issue.
Thank you
I logged in to your site and faced the same issue which may be due to your server settings so i downloaded it from https://cdn.shufflehound.com/theme-plugins/yellow-pencil-AX5N33.zip and tried to install it manually on your site but it displayed the error as shown in the attached screenshot due to upload_max_filesize limit.
To resolve this please increase upload_max_filesize limit on your site as described in the following pages.

Hi,
I have increased the upload limit using the plugin you suggested, but I still get the same error message. Do you have any other suggestions?

Then please contact your web host regarding this as the server is enforcing these restrictions.
Thank you, this last solution worked.
