When using the Visual Page Builder I can’t use all the dropdonws anymore. E.g. if I want to edit a text box the text box editor opens. If I click on color, font size etc. there’s no dropdown appearing.
If I close the text box overlay window again sometimes I can see the dropdown flashing for a short moment. It appears that the dropdown had been hidden by the editor overlay window.
What I already tried:
- Updated WordPress manually
- disabled all plugins
- tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox
- restarted Mac
Can you please help me with this issue?

As you can see in the screenshot where you can set the background color for the text, the small arrow points up. That means the color pallet should be visible. But it’s not.
When I close the text editor sometimes I can see the color pallet flashing for a short moment as if it has been hidden by the overlay window.

Solution for this topic
I could confirm the issue on my test site therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.
In the meanwhile you can try resolving the issue by using the attached small custom plugin.
