I’m looking for an option to creat a search form in my navigation menu – is there any possibility I overlooked?

You can enable the search option in the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshots.
You can use the below plugin for more advanced menu search options.

You will have to develop custom code to change that text.
Alternatively, you can try using any of the following plugins to change it.
