Hi. In the demo content, Shop sits on the top menu and Standard is a sub item. How do I make it just 1 layer, ie. upon clicking Shop, one sees the product catalogue. I want to eliminate the need for a user to click on “standard” (an additional step). I noticed that in the demo content, Shop comes with a Custom Link and is not a page. I’m not familiar and hope you can help with my question. Thanks.

Thank you for your question.
Just remove the Shop menu item so that sub menu items will become parent menu items.
