One of Essential grid plugin feature doesn’t work with Jevelin theme. if I link to the Lightbox of EG the photo doesn’t come up.
If you go to the wardrobe page https://fittedwardrobeslondon.com/wardrobes/
And click on the photo then you get a link like this: https://fittedwardrobeslondon.com/wardrobes/#item-2
This link should bring up the lightbox but not with your theme.
Would be fantastic if you can find out what is the problem an give me a solution. Thank you very much in advance

I visited your shared site and the lightbox is working fine for me as shown in the attached screenshot.
Could you please test it on a different browser?

I don’t have a problem with the lightbox my problem is this link https://fittedwardrobeslondon.com/wardrobes/#item-2 doesn’t open the second wardrobe photo.

I am not sure why this is happening but you can contact Essential grid plugin developer to know the bottleneck of the issue and if it is anything specific with theme functionality then we would help you to resolve it.
I just did this as I mentioned in my first post they investigated 2 days and discovered the problem happening only in jevelin theme only. If they switch the theme the links work as expected.
Yes but we don’t know exactly what is conflicting with theme functionality such as CSS, JS or PHP code or any order of files loading or any plugin functionality that the theme is overwriting mistakenly so could you please ask them to provide specific information as they are aware of their plugin?
I still waiting for their answer, just an idea. Is it possible to disable your theme’s lightbox? maybe the two making a conflict?
You can disable WooCommerce lightbox from the theme settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
Is it the same lightbox opening in the portfolio or posts?
No it is not and there isn’t any option to remove it without editing below theme file.

They asking the following:
“About issue : Please understand that it’s not easy to find what’s in theme causing issue, it’s not general issue that arrive for each customer, in fact, i have seen this issue first time and it’s only because something in theme is causing this, what’s causing this is not very simple to find, could you ask your theme support to tell me if they have any javascript code which modify # linking functionality ? they should have such code than only issue can arrive.
I need to see that code and after removing that we can see if that’s the cause of issue.
Also could you ask them if they have custom built lightbox or any pre built library used for lightbox ?”
You will find theme lightbox functionality code in the following three theme files.

Thank you but they cant find plugin issue. Here is their reply:
“Sorry to say that none of those seems to be causing issue, i tried edit files, removed those lightbox library and their associated code but it’s still issue.

As you see it works fine ! and it’s because it use “slider revolution blank page” template, which do not use theme structure.
I have no further idea on what could be cause of this from theme but it’s definitely theme issue and not plugins as you can see.”
Can you do anything else to find out the solution?
I don’t have theme editor access on your site so could you please grant me theme editor so that I can troubleshoot the issue?

I deactivated some plugins I don’t need maybe that was one of the function of them
