    Hello,

I am making a website using the education theme of Jevelin and having a hard time creating application form page. When I see the original theme, the page has blank fields. But it doesn’t appear in my website as attached. Please let me know how to troubleshoot this.

    Thanks!

    Hi Huieun,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Please make sure you are using Unyson plugin on your site and use its contact form content element on that page.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hi Shufflehound team,

    Thanks for your suggestion!

I will try to use the suggested plugin but wonder if you have any guide page to help us creating a contact form with that plugin.

    Thanks,

    Huieun

You can create contact form using unyson plugin contact form content element and configuring it as shown in the attached screenshots.

    Hello,

I created an application form with your guide, but when I tested it, it didn’t work. Attached is a screenshot of the error message. I used SMTP in the setting and put the information that was successfully used in other POP/SMTP settings. I don’t know how to troubleshoot this.

    Thanks in advance!

    best,

    Huieun

Which email address have you set as a destination email address in the Unyson contact form settings?

I used my Gmail address when I was using ‘wp-mail’, but it didn’t work. So I used the ‘SMTP’ and put the information that I got from my hosting company.

Ok then please use the following plugin to test whether your site sends email successfully.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/

Also would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?

I will try to install the plugin you suggested. And I put the login information of my website into the below private information field.

Have you used the following plugin to test whether your site sends email successfully?

Yes. The plugin works well as itself. Also, when I send a test mail on the mailer tap in the contact form setting, it works fine. BUT, when I actually test the contact form, I get the same error message. “Invalid destination email…”. The link to the page that I am working on:

    http://ideeconsulting.co.kr/wp-admin/post.php?post=6868&action=edit

I have tested it by sending the test email on my email ID.

The message displayed as sent but I didn’t receive the email as shown in the attached screenshot.

Did the same happen for you?

Yes, I got the same message and didn’t get the email. I’m skeptical about whether it works.

Do you also not get an email sent by below plugin?

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/

If you get it then please make sure that you have configured the contact form SMTP settings correctly as shown in the attached screenshot and get the Test email sent by it.

Yes, I also got the plugin you mentioned.

As for the SMTP settings, I DID configure them correctly. I put the same information that I used in other email POP/SMTP settings and made sure it worked fine there.

I used the Check Email plugin and sent the test email but I never received it.

Do you get email sent by Check Email plugin or any other email from your site such as comment or user registration email?

It seems your site is unable to send any email.

You can troubleshoot and fix this issue as described in the below pages.

I did get email sent by Check Email plugin and the contact setting page. So I don’t think it’s an issue of my wordpress not sending emails. I think it could be a bug of the contact form that Unyson create.

I have tested it on your site but didn’t get any email sent by Check Email plugin and the contact setting page.

Also, the Unyson contact form is working fine on my test site and also on the sites of other users.

If you think it is Unyson contact form issue then you can create and use the contact form using below plugin.
