Hi, I am trying to create a portfolio grid of different articles my client has authored. I’m currently using the portfolio feature and I would like to have it structured as so:

    Photo

    Name of article

    Date of article

    Description

    Link

I attached a screenshot of what it currently looks like.

As you’ll see in the screenshot, even though I have the date included in the portfolio description, it loses its styling when it goes into the description. Is there a way to either have it jump to the next line, or to add another field to the portfolio tile view?

    Hi @dalkat,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of Jevelin theme.

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here. Please see https://themeforest.net/item/jevelin-multipurpose-premium-responsive-wordpress-theme/14728833/support

If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. Shufflehound recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

Where do I go to edit the child theme? Is it under Appearance > Theme Editor? What section can I refer to for the portfolio tile code?

If I do edit it, is there a way to edit it only for that portfolio style?

And thanks for your help, hope you are well too 🙂

Where do I go to edit the child theme?

Is it under Appearance > Theme Editor?

If you have installed the child theme on your site then yes it is under Appearance > Theme Editor but please edit it using FTP or cPanel file manager so that if you modify anything wrong then you recover it.

You can find more information about the child theme in the below page.

What section can I refer to for the portfolio tile code?

If I do edit it, is there a way to edit it only for that portfolio style?

Yes, you can edit it in the below theme directory.

    /jevelin/framework-customizations/extensions/shortcodes/shortcodes/portfolio/

If you don’t know how to edit it or develop custom code then you can consider hiring a developer as said above.
