just purchased gillion theme, really love it, only few steps to build my ideal site.
- is there any place which I can customize author page?
- if I would like to add a area which describes the author’s show bio and a avatar, along with a link to he/her’s author page, how can I achieve that? also I would like to place this in author’s page too.
- in every post there is a “related posts” slide, may I specify the posts to be shown? as well as the number of posts.

You have to overwrite author.php file of theme in to child theme and then you can edit this file to customize author page.

As said above you have to develop custom code or try using plugins like following to achieve this.

LIke author.php file described above, you have to overwrite single.php file and edit it on line number 299 to achieve this.
