Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Can I make my blog post page (the compilations page) one single column
Hi there,
This is my blog post page: https://drivertechie.com/how-tos/, but I want to make change the column from 2 to 1, but it can’t be done in the customizer.
Can you please let me know how to do it?
The alternative would be for me to create a new page and make it a post page and hide this page. Is that possible?
Anyone here?
Hi there,
At the moment we don’t have an option for that in this layout, but we can create a simple custom CSS that should change it from 2 to 1 columns. Would this solution work for you?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Yeah, it should work.
Can you please let me know the CSS codes then?
Thanks in advance.
Also, when I created the blog post compilation page, I have a search field on the first fold, and the categories are under the background image.
Actually, this is the demo page I inserted: https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/blog1/, but when I make this page my post page, things are so different. I’m not sure what went wrong.
Can you please help?
Hi there, any updates?
Hi there,
Looks like the login details didn’t save correctly. For some reason this feature sometimes doesn’t want to work correctly. Can you please try to attach the login details again?
We will try to fix these issues soon after we will be able to access your website.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
We changed columns from 2 to 1.
Can you please take a look if the issue is fixed now?
Okay, thanks for the change.
If I want to change it back to 2 columns, I can just delete this added CSS code, right?
Also, would it be possible that you to make the featured image smaller? it’s now so big on the blog post card, or grid.
One more thing, the heading 1 title on the blog page is a link. For instance, in this blog, https://drivertechie.com/hyperx-cloud-2-mic-not-working-solved/, the title “[Solved] HyperX Cloud 2 Mic Not Working? Fixes are here!” is clickable. Can I disable it as well somewhere? I assume in some template?
Yes, we also added a notice above the CSS snippet that changes it from 2 to 1 (for easier understanding what to remove)
It might be possible. How much smaller would you like it to be?
We are not sure why it is even clickable as in our test websites there isn’t a link, but we managed to remove it for your website.
