We are using the Blog Posts Basic element.
For example, for an instance we want to only display posts from Category “News”.
So, we can select multiple categories for a post. In which logic does it show only 1 category when displaying the posts via that shortcode?
For example we have a post with the following categories selected
News, Tips, World, Fashion
If we display that post with Blog Posts Basic element with selected to show only News category, then it shows this post but instead of New category it shows any of the other 4 categories that this post have.
Based on the filter by category, it should only show that category and not the other categories that this post might belong to.

The filter of Blog Posts Basic element displays posts of the specific categories that you have set but it does not control which category to display in the post.
You can try using any plugin that sets the primary category or develops custom code to display a specific category on the post.
