Hi,
My portfolio gallery isn’t showing a description (style: trendy). My content is currently in WPBakery elements. How can I customize a description/snippet for the gallery view?
Hi @dalkat,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I am not sure which gallery you are referring to on your shared website so could you please share the screenshot of it?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
It’s the gallery on this page

To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of the Jevelin theme.
Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here. Please see https://themeforest.net/item/jevelin-multipurpose-premium-responsive-wordpress-theme/14728833/support
If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. Shufflehound recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5
Why would I need custom code? It’s a built in feature with Jevelin’s Trendy portfolio gallery view.
If you are referring to the portfolio element used on this page https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/portfolio-page/trendy/ that is created using the portfolio element of the Unyson page builder as shown in the attached screenshots.
Have you created the Trendy style gallery view using the Unyson page builder or WpBakery page builder?
Do you want to display it as shown on the below page?
https://jevelin.shufflehound.com/portfolio-page/trendy/
Could you please share the page URL from your site where you want to display it so that I can help you?
Then please make sure that you have configured the Portfolio element of WPBakery page builder as shown in the attached screenshot.
I did! I don’t see where to edit the TEXT of the description though. It’s showing up empty without text
You have to add the description in the content area of the project as shown in the attached screenshots.
If you still can’t do it then would you mind if I log in to your site and do it? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share me the account login details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able to see it)”?
Alternatively, you can use the below plugins and grant me limited temporary login access to your website.

I wonder if it’s because we’re using WP Bakery for the ‘description’? It’s not just text, it’s cells and elements.
login details below. while you’re at it, can you also tell me why when i do a project gallery in wpbakery it doesn’t let me filter by tag / category?

Yes, I logged into your website and confirmed this is happening because you are using the WPBakery page builder to create your portfolio pages.
