Hi,
I have placed some call-to-action elements to my pages which should stretch to full width. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work reliably. In admin mode or in production while changing pages, a white area as wide as the content remains.
Screenshot 1 Main page works (mostly)
Screenshot 2 the described issue
Screenshot 3 the page like it should be.
Hi there,
We can confirm your issue and it could be related to caching plugins. Can you please try to disable them and see if that works?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Hi, thank you for your help.
You are right. The issue was related to a plugin, which changes the CSS load order for speed purposes: “Speed Up – Optimize CSS Delivery”
-> This plugin loads the stylesheets asynchronously and improves page load times.
It was ok for me to disable this plugin to solve the issue.
We are glad that it worked! š
There are many ways to improve CSS delivery with multiple plugins and multiple settings, so sometimes tweaking is required to get everything loading fine. You most likely can improve CSS delivery, but with a little less aggressive settings
