Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Google Map API not Working
I’m trying to set the location on the Google Map section–but it isn’t working. It says “This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”
I’ve tried adding an API within the Theme Settings–but still no luck.
Hi there,
Sorry for this issue, we will soon release beta version to test.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Please test our latest beta version and let us know if that works.
Notice: API key now should be added under Google Maps element options.
Please login to access this file
Do I have to uninstall my current theme and reinstall the beta?
Edit: fixed it. Thanks.
Nice to hear that. 🙂
Hi
I have the same issue, which is not getting resolved even after applying the APIs as mentioned above.
We are on latest version of Jevelin.
@deepaksachdeva Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
Could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is not working so that i can troubleshoot it?
@deepaksachdeva I visited your shared site and saw the Google map is not configured correctly as it is displaying the error message in the browser console as shown in the attached screenshot.
The error message is “RefererNotAllowedMapError” which means ” The current URL loading the Google Maps JavaScript API has not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings of your API key on the Google API Console.” find more info about it here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error and resolve this issue to make the Google maps work.
