I’m not sure if this is a theme issue or something else, but the homepage of my website has disappeared (it included slider rev and corporate themed layout – all content and images etc) and been replaced with ‘Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.’
I’ve checked for page revisions to see if I can restore previous but there don’t seem to be any revisions any more. I’ve also updates plugins but no luck restoring my homepage.
All other pages seem fine.

Could you please tell me exactly what you have done on the site which caused this issue?
Also please make sure that in your site Reading Settings you have set correct home page.

I haven’t done anything to trigger the issue. It was fine one day and gone a couple of days later.
I have since ensured Unyson is up to date and updated any other plugins that asked for updates. Unfortunately this hasn’t resolved the issue.
The page is set as homepage.

The page doesn’t get corrupted automatically.
There must have something happened on your site causing the issue. Either by human or by softwares such as virus, malware etc. so please find out it on your site.
Would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will be able see it.”?

Do you have backup of your site before this happened so that you can restore it?

I am not sure what is happening with your site but I would suggest you to change all admin users passwords on your site and secure your site using below solutions.

If you don’t have your site backup then unfortunately we can’t restore your site and you have to create your site again manually.
Please do regularly take backup of your site using any of the below solutions so that if anything goes wrong then we can restore it.

I am just getting in touch one final time to ask if there’s anything you can do to help me recover my site or restore a previous version?
I don’t understand how we went from a corrupted homepage query to all site content being wiped / deleted.
Please can you try to investigate further or put me in touch with someone who may be able to help?

Do you have backup of your site taken before pages corruption?
We can only help you to restore the site if you have backup of your old site.
You can consider hiring a WordPress developer or designer to get help to design your site.
