    Hi there,

     

    Is there anyway to import some demo content pages without overwriting things such as the menu, widgets, footers etc?

     

    Basically I have a live site and don’t want to have it overwrite anything just to have the pages available in the pages page. So I can edit then and make them live at a later date, just wondering if this is possible?

    Hi @supporttester,

     

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

     

    You can import whole demo content but not specific pages but it will not overwrite any existing content on your site if you use new demo import method as described in the below page.

    I highly recommend you to do this on your development site first before making changes on your live site and do take backup of your live site.

    I tried the correct way, but unfortunately it reset all the settings within appearance => theme settings.

     

    I used a backup so it’s fine now.
