It seems the links don’t open in new windows when we select that option. See image.

target=”_blank” doesn’t get added. Seems to be an issue throughout the site.

The latest Elementor updates introduced some back-end changes that required us to adjust our theme’s code to ensure compatibility. While it may not affect all themes, certain customization in ours needed updates to align with these changes.
Ok. How do I get access to these changes?
And no change, still doesn’t work for the links.

To ensure links open in a new window, please follow these steps:
- Edit the footer using Elementor.
- For each link, click the “Link Options” icon (gear icon) next to the link field.
- Enable the “Open in new window” option.

We checked the footer links and noticed that none of them currently have the “Open in new window” option enabled. To resolve this, you can enable this option for each link by:
- Editing the footer with Elementor.
- Clicking the gear icon (Link Options) next to the link field.
- Checking the “Open in new window” option.
We tested enabling this option on one link, and it worked as expected. Please enable it for all links you’d like to open in a new tab. Let us know if you need further assistance.
