We have loaded in a Pinterest “pin it” button plugin to our site but it seems like it does not work (this is our second plugin we’ve tried) with the Gillion theme. It shows on some images (like static images in our sidebar) but not on top of the main images of the site. Is there a workaround for this? We really need to be able to have Pin It buttons appear on hover on all our images as we’re a wedding related site.

    Hi @starboardcreative,

    Thank you for your question.

I am not sure which top of the main images of the site you are referring so could you please share the screenshot of it and also share me the page URL from your site where it is displaying so that i can help you to achieve it?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

Thank you! The link is below (within the private content section). Basically the “pin it” button is not showing on most of the images on the site. I’ve seen it show on a couple of static images in the sidebar but not on all the main images on the homepage or subpages. Help!

Please make sure you have configured the plugin settings correctly as shown in this screenshot https://ps.w.org/pinterest-pin-it-button-on-image-hover-and-post/assets/screenshot-4.png?rev=1063904

Also please try using any of the following alternate pinterest plugins.

Thanks. I deactivated the one we had installed (Pinterest Pin It Button by Weblizar) and installed and activated the “Pinterest Master” one you suggested. It is allowing the pin it button to show on individual post page images  (in the body of the page) but does not show the “pin it” button on the homepage images or the category page images. Is there a reason? Could it be conflicting with the hover color and/or z-index on the homepage or category main pages?

Not sure whether it is conflicting or the plugin doesn’t provide the functionality.

You can contact the plugin author regarding this and also you can test it with any default WordPress theme like Twenty Seventeen.
