    Hi,

    I activated the product reviews to improve the SEO of my client’s site:

    https://campplecider.com/
    https://campplecider.com/producto/campple/

    and have the Schema Pro plugin installed.

    When I use the structured data testing tool by Google I see two errors in the review https://campplecider.com/li-comment-164 (see image attached): there are missing values in author and item review fields. But the comment has an author name “Marta” and a review. I think the number of this kind of error will surely increase as more evaluations are made.

    You can also see the errors in this link: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/?hl=es#url=campplecider.com

    My SEO contact has told me that this corresponds to a template issue.

    Could you help me?

    Thank you,

    Patricia.

    Hi Patricia,

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    It seems you are using an older version of the theme on your website so please update it to the below latest version as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/

    My SEO contact has told me that this corresponds to a template issue

    Could you please ask them why they think it is related to the theme issue?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hello,

    I installed the last theme version and it shows the same error. Our SEO has worked in several websites with WordPress and Woocommerce and this is the first time she has these two erros with structured data in reviews.

    Please, check campplecider.com in https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/

    You’ll see that there are missing values for “author” and “itemreviewed” fields. When I look for this review code in the website, I see this (in Marta’s review code):

    <span class=”html-tag”><strong <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>woocommerce-review__author</span>”></span>Marta <span class=”html-tag”></span> <span class=”html-tag”><span <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>woocommerce-review__dash</span>”></span>&ndash;<span class=”html-tag”></span></span> <span class=”html-tag”><time <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>woocommerce-review__published-date</span>” <span class=”html-attribute-name”>datetime</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>2020-10-05T14:36:29+02:00</span>”></span>05/10/2020<span class=”html-tag”></time></span> <span class=”html-tag”></p></span><span class=”html-tag”><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>description</span>”></span><span class=”html-tag”><p></span>A mí no me gustaba mucho la Sidra pero un amigo me regalo una caja y desde entonces no he dejado de pedirla. ¡Está buenísima!.<span class=”html-tag”></p></span><span class=”html-tag”></div></span> <span class=”html-tag”></div></span> <span class=”html-tag”></div></span><span class=”html-tag”></span> <span class=”html-tag”></span> <span class=”html-tag”></div></span> <span class=”html-tag”><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>id</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>review_form_wrapper</span>”></span> <span class=”html-tag”><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>id</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>review_form</span>”></span>

    Please, see other website that sells our product: https://www.cervezasyria.com/producto/campple-cider/ (see Rita’s review code):

    <span class=”html-tag”><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>author</span>” <span class=”html-attribute-name”>itemprop</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>author</span>”></span>Rita<span class=”html-tag”></div><time <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>date</span>” <span class=”html-attribute-name”>itemprop</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>datePublished</span>” <span class=”html-attribute-name”>datetime</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>2020-03-31T21:27:54+00:00</span>”>31/03/2020</time></div><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>comment-text</span>”><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>itemprop</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>description</span>” <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>description</span>”><div <span class=”html-attribute-name”>class</span>=”<span class=”html-attribute-value”>description</span>”><p>Me encanta. Tiene el fondo de la sidra asturiana natural pero sin la acidez ni el golpe en nariz. Dulce y con gas pero sin pasarse. Soy fan.</p></div></span>

    Here you don’t have review errors and it names the classes differently.

    I only need to correct those review errors.

    Thank you.

    I can still see you are using older version 4.6.8 of the theme on your website so please update it to the latest version.

    Ok, let me check it with the programmer. I sent him Jevelin Beta 4.8.3 that you attached.

    Just uploaded the last version.

    See two captures attached. The first one, the structured data errors (you already have this image). And the programmer sent me the second one and told me this: this is the file and the file line where the schema begins to be generated, from which we think that something is not right.

    Thank you

    That file is a woocommerce file that is just copied from the woocommerce plugin into the theme directory so please check the same file in the woocommerce plugin and report the issue the plugin developer if you see the same issue.
