How does it work to activate the license for revolution slider build in within the theme, I can see many updates that I’m unable to install.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
If you have not purchased this plugin and using the plugin bundled with the theme then you are not direct customer of that plugin so can not update that plugin until it is updated in the theme.

I did install the last version, I have the 5.3.1.5, not the last. Also on another completly different topic. I do not have the event template in the list, is it normal ?

Where are you checking it?
Please check it in the page builder templates as shown in the attached screenshot.
