I was using the default editor switched to wpbakery, I added something using it & saved it now my page is broken & the default editor button is gone for that page! Hours of work gone just like that! What the hell!

Thank you for your question.
Please make sure that the wpbakery plugin is activated and Unyson plugin page builder extension is disabled so that it won’t conflict with wpbakery page builder.

Shufflehound teamThen why add 2 plugins that don’t function together?! Nor did you give any warning in the documentation!
Both the plugins are page builders which are alternatives to each other so every theme user has personal choice and they use them accordingly.
Also users can use both page builders on the site but can use only one at a time in a single page so they have to disable other for that page which I think you are missing.
