  • Hi there, I have two major issues that have stopped my work:

    1. When a customer tries to leave a review for a product on my site, they get this:

    Unable to connect

    Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

     

    Other parts of the site are working fine. I also contacted my hosting provider and they told me reviews are working fine in the original theme, and I must contact the theme developer, because this is an issue from my new theme. Could you please tell me how to solve it?

    2. Suddenly, my abilities to edit the home page disappeared. I am attaching a screenshot – the page exists, but the page builder blocks and everything on the backend I was using to build the page and I want to edit are not there. Why has this happened?

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

     

    This seems causing by new Unyson plugin update so please make sure to use latest version of Unyson plugin and update its extensions as described in the following topic.

    This solved the second issue, but it did not solve the first one. I am still getting the error page when trying to leave a review for the product. Can you please fix this? Thank you!

    I could confirm the issue on your site but is is working fine on my test site using latest version of Jevelin theme.

     

    To find out why this is happening i just temporary activated Twenty Seventeen theme on your site and the same issue occurred so this is not Jevelin theme related issue.

     

    You can test it yourself by temporary activating Twenty Seventeen theme on your site.

     

    Have you migrated your site from localhost?

     

    It seems the site is not migrated or configured correctly on the server causing the issue.

    No, I have not migrated the site, it just had another theme and I switched to Jevelin…

     

    OK, thank you, so what type of specialist should I contact to help me fix the issue?

    This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Unyson and Woocommerce plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

     

    If it is not plugin conflict then may i just change localhost URLs in your site database to your site URL?

     

    If it’s ok then please take backup of your site so that if anything goes wrong then we can recover it.

    It is not the plugins… I have created backups with Updraftplus, I hope it is enough… I don’t understand what it means to

    ‘change localhost URLs in your site database to your site URL’

    I deactivated and reactivated the plugins on your site and the review is now working fine for me.

    Could you please check it?
