Hello,
I use WPML for site translations.
I created the footer with WPbakery but the translation is not handled.
When I am in Theme Settings I can select individual translated footers and not a single footer.
can you help me?
Thank you
Luca

Hi,
any news? 🙂
Thanks

Hello,
Thank you the login details! 🙂
We’ve had a look at your website and noticed that the footer is working well in two out of the three languages. However, it looks like the English version isn’t showing up properly. It seems that the translation feature is working, but the English translation might be missing.
We also checked the footer page and couldn’t find the English translation there, which might be the issue. Can you please check that?
Best regards,
Shufflehound Team
Hi Staff,
I did not explain myself well.
Jevelin does not see the translations of the WPbakery footer and consequently does not assign the correct footer to each language.
In the Footer section of the Jevelin Theme Settings (see attachment 1), I should only have one ‘Footer Baya (from WPbakery page builder)’, but instead Theme Settings shows me all the Baya footer translations individually:
Footer Baya (from WPbakery page builder) – EN
Footer Baya (from WPbakery page builder) – DE
Footer Baya (from WPbakery page builder) – FR
Footer Baya (from WPbakery page builder) – EN
So if I choose the IT footer, all languages on the site have the IT footer and changing the language does not show the translated footer (attachment 2, the fuchsia box always remains in IT).
Can you help me?
Hello,
Just to clarify, we are seeing different text in the footer for two languages. We have attached screenshots below. Due to the different text, it seemed that the footer translation is working.

Hi,
I understood the misunderstanding. No, those are WP Custom Menus and they load the translated menus. For reference, take the fuchsia box in the newsletter, immediately above.
Thank you

Hi,
unfortunately it does not work correctly, duplicates the page contents and does not solve the footer problem 🙁
I found an alternative solution by using a shortcode with php code directly on the footer.
Thanks
Luca
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
We appreciate you letting us know about the issues with the beta patch. For now, we’ll cancel this update to avoid potential problems with existing sites. It’s great that you found a working solution using a shortcode with PHP code.
Please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.
