Hello,
I have purchased jevelin theme and it does not come out as envisaged, or rather what the demo looked like, The most important part – header did not work, I realized that I had to install another plugin, I did that and my site structure changed completely forcing me to revert to an earlier version.
Can you please assist me?

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
After activating the theme please make sure to install all the theme required plugins from Install Plugins menu as shown in the attached screenshot.
Then you can configure theme Header styles from theme header layout option as shown in the second and third attached screenshots.
You can get more information about using theme in the theme documentation as shown in the fourth attached screenshot.

Instead, mine are stacked plain text links. I can give you private access to my site if you send me the email I should forward the credentials to.
I have all plugins installed except for woocommerce and mailchimp. I have the portfolio demo installed as well. When I go Appearance >Header selecting any of the “Header Layout” options does nothing. The menu remains the same.
