I am writing this ticket because, after reinstalling Gillion, I saw that Elementor is a required plugin. My question, therefore, is whether there’s a substitute or, if I understand correctly, it doesn’t need to be activated for it to work with Gillion.

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your concerns.
Elementor is currently the main page builder we recommend for new or empty Gillion websites when there is no specific builder preference. However, it is not required for the theme itself to work.
You can leave Elementor not installed and continue using WPBakery Page Builder, as before. We understand that you would prefer not to use Elementor, and this will not prevent you from using Gillion with WPBakery.
In short, you can choose either Elementor or WPBakery Page Builder, depending on your preference.
