Hello. I noticed when I used my IMAC today and went to my website, my site does not adjust to fit the size of the browser display — it stays in the center and leaves white on either side. Please advise how to make the site responsive based on the display the user is using. Thanks

It seems what you are trying to achieve is an elastic layout that is not good and not used nowadays as it stretches the images and breaks their ratio.

Yes, there is a lot of white space on either side of the page.
You can change its width in the theme settings to remove the whitespace as shown in the attached screenshot.
