    I am seriously considering changing the theme. There are many errors in the Gillion theme that I have managed to fix, but one issue remains unresolved. For example:

    • I could not create a complete blog post as only the blog title and metadata were displayed, not the blog content. When I went back to edit the blog post and tried to use Elementor’s preview page to check if the blog content actually exists, an error message appeared listing possible causes:

    Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string – int in /homepages/0/d963178849/htdocs/wp-content/themes/gillion/inc/helpers_blog.php:361 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/0/d963178849/htdocs/wp-content/themes/gillion/single.php(153): gillion_post_review_score() #1 /homepages/0/d963178849/htdocs/wp-includes/template-loader.php(106): include(‘/homepages/0/d9…’) #2 /homepages/0/d963178849/htdocs/wp-blog-header.php(19): require_once(‘/homepages/0/d9…’) #3 /homepages/0/d963178849/htdocs/index.php(17): require(‘/homepages/0/d9…’) #4 {main} thrown

    Bitte eine Lösung, herzlich Dank.

    Hi there,

    Would you mind sharing with us the version of PHP you’re currently using? This will help us to test it.

    Currently, it seems that your PHP version might be a bit too new and causing some issues. We might have to work on a bug fix update for that.

    Best regards,

    Hey, thank you for answer. Well, I am currently using PHP 8.1

    I also figured out what could be the cause. I use a plugin with Classic Editor because I don’t to like new forms from WordPress and Elementor. When I want to post a default post, everything works fine as usual. But:

    • when I want to edit and re-update post, it crashs everything
    • activate or insert post with poll function, then update again, it crashs everything too
      The same like in screenhot picture.

    <div id=”gtx-trans” style=”position: absolute; left: 159px; top: 198px;”>
    <div class=”gtx-trans-icon”></div>
    </div>

    Hi there,

    It might be worth considering reducing the PHP version as an alternative solution. By doing so, you may find that the issue is resolved. It seems that some plugin developers have not fully fixed multiple issues related to PHP 8.*, which is why currently don’t use the latest PHP version for most of our live websites.

    Best regards,

    Shufflehound team
