    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

     

    You can add widgets like text widget in the Footer widgets area as shown in the attached screenshot or tell me exactly where you want to add it by sharing the screenshot of that section.

    So sorry. I mean: How do I increase the number of columns for widgets. I want the option to display four (widget area) columns instead of three.

    You can achieve this using theme footer settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
