I’d like to add the Linecons font icons pack to the theme. What are the steps I need to take to achieve this?

Hi there,
Yes, it is possible if icon pack have font and CSS/HTML option.
In attachment we added child theme where in functions.php you can enqueue font files, add new icon groups and it’s icons.

I got the error as soon as I loaded the child theme.
We created a new child theme version, which should fix this issue.
Let us know if the issue is fixed.
I loaded the child theme, but how do I load the new font icons? Do I need to upload the font zip file?
It depends on font you want to use, usually you just need to load only main CSS file, which will load all your font files.
In any way you will need to upload CSS and all its font files.
I loaded the fonts and the font’s css, but the icons aren’t visible.

fonts folder attached.
Downloaded child theme
uploaded font files to font folder
and css files to css folder
and added updated function file attached as well
@Jen520 You need to edit functions file, as we mentioned in first reply.
@LaboremEdge It seems about right. Can you please tell us if in backend options appeared a new icon pack?Shuffelhound, yes the new icon packs did appear, but the actual icons are not visisble on backend (or front-end) only short-codes on backend.

I have attached a child theme that contains custom code to use this linecons https://designmodo.com/linecons-free/ which you can use as shown in the attached screenshot.
If you want to use any other font then you need to just edit the child theme code by referring the code added for using linecons.
