    Hi,

    I chose the “Left” blog style for the blog page and found out there are no excerpt or description in this style. And for some reason, the Left style in “what’s new” page doesn’t have “category” either. Is there anyway for me to add them back?

    Those both things you should be able to add.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately our site hasn’t been published. Is it possible to review my page if  I copy the whole page source code out into text format?

    Unfortunately raw HTML files are not allowed for the upload.

    Can you please try to upload those files in a ZIP? That should work.

    You can take a look on two options in the Gillion settings page:

    • Post > Post Categories > Position and see if that option changes something
    • Blog > Description Length and see if that option isn’t set to 0

    Hi,

    I have solved the first problem by finding that I accidentally changed the post categories display to “none”.

    As for the second problem.I do set the description length to 120. Meanwhile, I found out that if I chose the page blog style to “left(mini)”, the excerpt will show up correctly. However, I can’t find the “Left(mini)” option in the Blog setting when customizing the theme. Please see the attachment. Thanks.
