    Hi,

I want to change the categories that are listed on top of each article. I want them to be listed on top of each post, but I only want to feature the primary category that I’ve selected for each article. I still want them to be categorised in every category I’ve selected them in, but I don’t want to see more than the primary category above each post.

    Hi @globalobserver,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of the Gillion theme.

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here. Please see https://themeforest.net/item/gillion-multiconcept-blogmagazine-theme/19470306/support

If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. Shufflehound recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

I’m not sure if I’m comfortable directly changing the code – is there anything else I can do? I just want to change the category listed on the site above each post to their primary category and not the first category based on alphabetical order (which is what I think it’s doing now). There’s no setting for that?

There is no setting for it therefore you have to develop code to achieve it and If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring one as described above.
