Hi! I changed the background color in my footer and also the link in the footer to transparent. The changes aren’t showing up. I cleared my cache. Thanks for your help!

I also tried editing these changes in YellowPencil.

I’m actually trying to change the background color in the footer area where the social media icons were located. I removed the social media icons but they were located in the same area as the logo at the bottom of the homepage. https://barcisdc.wpcomstaging.com/?share=c9b9d71519bf178f7823db0c8c0fdec3f73468f1887a3164755c8ab5507baa39

It shows up the way I want it in yellow pencil. The screenshot is attached. The color I am wanting in that area is #C8C8C8

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message!

If the changes aren’t showing up after clearing the cache, it could be that YellowPencil isn’t properly overriding the theme’s CSS. I recommend trying to apply the background color change directly in the WPBakery Page Builder, follow these steps:

    1. Edit the Footer Area with WPBakery:
      • Go to Pages in your WordPress dashboard and locate the page where your footer content is added (it might be in a specific Footer section if it’s built as a template).
      • Open the page in WPBakery Page Builder.
    2. Change the Background Color:
      • Locate the row or section that includes the footer area.
      • Click on the pencil/edit icon for the row or section.
      • In the popup, go to the Design Options tab.
      • Find the Background Color option and select the color you want (#C8C8C8).
      • Save the changes.
    3. Save and Preview:
      • Save your changes in WPBakery, update the page, and check if the changes reflect as expected.

This method ensures that the changes are made directly within WPBakery without using custom CSS. Let me know if this works or if you need further assistance! 🙂

    Best regards,
