I want to use some of the slider revolution pluggins elements, but if i click on any it requires product activation. The link that pops says i can update manually through my theme. How do i do that.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
It seems from your question that you have already activated Slider revolution plugin on your site and now want to use its elements which need product activation.
Actually if you have not purchased this plugin and using the plugin bundled with the theme then you are not direct customer of that plugin so can not use that plugin paid elements until you purchase the plugin.
The bundled plugin provides limited functionality which is sufficient to make it work with the theme.
