Everytime I try to download the demo I get this error:

How can I fix this?

It is One click Demo Install plugin issue as reported below.

You can resolve it by increasing maximum execution time on your site as described in the following pages.

Is it possible to let someone log in to my account and check?
I already logged into your site and tested it therefore I suggested you above solutions.
Please see attached screenshot of what I am getting after trying to import Demo content on your site.
I just tried but I am getting the same error.

Is it possible that it has to do with something else?
Could you maybe check again and if possible download the ”Foodie” Demo.
I tested it and got same error for foodie demo therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.

The issue is resolved in the below latest version of theme so please update the theme as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
