Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › I have set the body background to black, but my website is still white
I have a client to wants a black background to his entire website. The header and the footer are black, but the body background is stubbornly white.
What am I missing?
I am attaching screenshots of my settings and of the home page.
Hi there,
Try adjusting the Background color in Jevelin Settings > Styling.
Let us know if that helps!

Please see this screenshot (which was attached to the original post) it shows my body background is set to black
Hi there,
That is indeed unusual. Would it be possible for us to log in to your website to investigate this issue more closely? Please share the login details in the private information field.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team.
Hello,
I have recently updated everything and also checked the site on a different browser and the problem persists.
It does this weird thing where you see a flash of the black background, but then it sets up the page as white.
I have added the login details in the private field.
Please can someone give me an answer?
Hi there,
Sorry for our late response, we added one custom CSS adjustment.
Can you please let us know if that fixed it? 🙂

I briefly had a black background this afternoon, but it disappeared again
I am honestly at my wits end
It looks like our code was somehow removed from the Jevelin Settings.
Could it have been accidentally overwritten?
In any case, we’ve added it back in. Here it is, just in case you need it:
.sh-footer-paralalx-init .content-container, .sh-footer-paralalx-init .blog-editor-content-container { background-color: #000!important; }
I have had to use Elementor to create my pages because the client wants to use Sonaar MP3 player, and so I have created every page with Elementor.
It looks like Elementor is the problem as I created a page using classic WP page builder or WP Bakery Builder I can see a black background.
If you have a link to the Elementor page we could look on that too.
All of the pages are created in Elementor
Hi there,
We checked most of your pages and we couldn’t see any pages with the white background anymore.
Best regards,

Hello,
Yes, it is okay now. Please advise if this was as a result of the coding or an update, because I have no clue how it was resolved.
Great! Lately we haven’t changed anything, so it seems that our previous CSS fixes started working.
