    Hi there,

    Following your comments, here you have another ticket for the 3 issues that we identified on our website due to the theme update

    • Footer title styles: for some reason, now titles on the footer appear “thin” when they were “bold” (as we want).
    • Filters from the review section on mobile (https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/nuestras-reviews/): For some reason, the filter section is located at the bottom of the page when it’s supposed to be on the top of the page (just before the articles). It was this way before the theme update.
    • Fixed Toc” content plugin: It was working perfectly before the theme update. You can see this issue in any article since all of them (except product reviews) have the Fixed TOC plugin. For some reason, when you scroll down, it appears and disappears. And even sometimes the entire page shows up desconfigurated.

    Could you please check these 3 issues? (all results from the theme update).

    Best regards,

    Nicholas L.

    Hi Nicholas,

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

    Footer title styles: for some reason, now titles on the footer appear “thin” when they were “bold” (as we want).

    It displays bold for me as shown in the attached screenshot.

    Please test it clearing your browser cache.

    Filters from the review section on mobile (https://www.yourwebsite.com/nuestras-reviews/): For some reason, the filter section is located at the bottom of the page when it’s supposed to be on the top of the page (just before the articles). It was this way before the theme update.

    You can achieve it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.

    Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

    @media(max-width:767px) {
        #page-container .content-wrapper-with-sidebar {
            display: flex;
            flex-wrap: wrap;
        }
        #page-container  #content {
            order: 2;
        }
        #page-container  #sidebar {
            order: 1;
        }
    }

    Fixed Toc” content plugin: It was working perfectly before the theme update. You can see this issue in any article since all of them (except product reviews) have the Fixed TOC plugin. For some reason, when you scroll down, it appears and disappears. And even sometimes the entire page shows up desconfigurated.

    Could you please share the screenshot of the issue?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hi,

    Here my feedback:

    – Footer title styles: you looked at the wrong titles. I was referring to section titles (¡Suscríbete ahora! – Últimos artículos – Más info). Attached screenshot.

    – Filters from the review section on mobile: I’ve applied the custom code you gave me and this is what is happening: on mobile, looking at the review section (https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/nuestras-reviews/) we can now correctly see the filters on the top of the page. BUT, when you enter any product review (with or without review score) you’ll see that the order is also changed and now it’s wrong.

    I’m going to let the custom code for you to see what I’m talking about.

    This problem wasn’t before the theme update

    – Fixed Toc” content plugin: I’m going to take this article as example of the issue (knowing that the issue happens on all the articles through our website, except for product reviews): https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/ecoturismo-principios-importancia-y-beneficios/

    This is what is happening: when you scrolled down in order to read the article, you see the sidebar content going down as it’s supposed to. Just after the recent posts (section “MEJORES RESEÑAS”) you’re supposed to start seeing the fixed toc plugin which is configured in a way user can see which section of the article is reading.

    But now, there is something wrong because the fixed toc plugin appears and disappears, sometimes the article even shows unconfigured.

    You can find screenshots attached.

    We’ve spoken to the plugin’s developer and he specified to us there is a sticky widget that might be causing the conflict which is the recent posts (section “MEJORES RESEÑAS” (screenshot attached)

    If you want we can have a quick conference call to spoke about these issues.

    Waiting for your response,

    Best regards,

    Nicholas L.

    I can see you are using the category shortcode in the widget to display the review section in the sidebar.

    Could you please tell me whether you are using any plugin that provides this category shortcode?

    You can disable the sticky sidebar for the whole website by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.

    Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code

    #sidebar .theiaStickySidebar {

        transform: none !important;

    It’s not bold as it’s on the theme demo (https://preview.themeforest.net/item/gillion-multiconcept-blogmagazine-theme/full_screen_preview/19470306?_ga=2.138720183.505776893.1608022779-1295411674.1608022779)

    Attached you’ll see screenshots of the current situation (screenshot 1) and how it’s on the theme demo (screenshot 2). We want it exactly like the theme demo version.

    I can see you are using the category shortcode in the widget to display the review section in the sidebar.

    Could you please tell me whether you are using any plugin that provides this category shortcode?

    In this particular case, we are not using any plugin for this.

    Maybe this will help you: we’ve created a copy of the website before the theme update. At this time, this section was working properly on mobile. You can find this copy UpdraftPlus Backup/Restore (https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus).

    BE CAREFUL: please do not overwrite the current version of the website with the update theme since we have added a lot of contents that would disappear. Maybe you can take the backup and look at it in order to see how it was configured before the theme update.

    What is clear is that the custom code you gave me does not work since he is affecting the order on all the articles on mobile (and we don’t want this). You can see the issue looking at any product review on mobile version (for example: https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/resena-chaqueta-helly-hansen-loke/). As you can see, the sidebar shows first and the product review content after. It has to be the other way (first the content and the sidebar after at the bottom).

    – Fixed Toc” content plugin: I’m going to take this article as example of the issue (knowing that the issue happens on all the articles through our website, except for product reviews): https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/ecoturismo-principios-importancia-y-beneficios/

    I’ve applied your custom code but the issue still there.

    Actually now it works worst. When you scroll down at any article from the website everything moves and it’s not possible to read properly.

    Here also you have the chance to look at the backup that we run before the theme update where this plugin was working properly.

    Just to summarize: we have applied 2 custom codes that remain active by this time (the first one for the filter from the review section on mobile and the second one for the sticky sidebar which is affecting the fixed toc plugin).

    None of them is working. Maybe it’s a good idea to delete them, but I’ll let you the decision.

    Waiting for your response.

    Attached you’ll see screenshots of the current situation (screenshot 1) and how it’s on the theme demo (screenshot 2). We want it exactly like the theme demo version.

    I resolved it on your website using the below CSS code.

    #page-container .sh-footer-widgets h3.widget-title,
    #page-container .sh-footer-widgets h4.widget-title {
        font-weight: 900;
    }

    I can see you have created the category shortcode by developing custom code in the functons.php file of the child theme.

    Developing custom code for custom functionality or providing support for it is beyond the scope of support that we provide here. Please see https://themeforest.net/item/gillion-multiconcept-blogmagazine-theme/19470306/support

    Hi,

    For the footer title styles, the solution you found it’s not what we need….

    Titles do not have the same look as for the theme demo. We need it to be exactly the same way. Please change it this way and let me know.

    About the product filter from the review section, received. We’ll look on our side to solve this since this configuration results from a custom code on our side.

    About the third point: We already contacted the plugin’s developer. We’ll wait to see what he tells us. If there is something new I’ll let you know.

    Just to summarize. What we need from you is to solve the footer title styles. The other 2 points will be reviewed on our side.

    Waiting for your response.

    Hi,

    Actually, it’s not displaying the same way as for the theme demo.

    If you take a deeper look at it, you’ll see that on my website, there are 2 lines below the title, when it’s supposed to be only one line below which is also bold below the title.

    Attached you’ll see the screenshot with the differences clearly identified. Please, check this and fix it. (and please do not tell me that there are displaying the same way because they are not).

    You can see the proper style on any sidebar through our website.
    For example on this product review: https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/resena-chaqueta-hibrida-arcteryx-beta-sl/

    You’ll see that the titles on the sidebar have the correct style.

    The issue is only on the footer’s titles.

    Just to let you know, I’ve deleted the custom CSS code you gave me to make bold footer titles because it was not the solution we needed.

    Waiting for your response.

    Regards,

    Nicholas L.

    Hi,

    Just to let you know that the issue is also on the quick articles (thunder icon on our website).

    Attached you have screenshots about it.

    Basically, all the titles located on widgets (sidebar, footer, etc) have to be exactly the same as for the theme demo.

    Attachments:
    You must be logged in to view attached files.

    The theme replaces footer widget title h3 to h4 using the below code that seems not working on your website.

    ob_start();
            			dynamic_sidebar( 'footer-widgets1' );
            			wp_reset_postdata();
            			$widgets = ob_get_clean();

            			$widgets = preg_replace( '/<h3 class="widget-title">(.+)<\/h3>/', '<h4 class="widget-title">$1</h4>', $widgets );

    You can style the h4 widget title using the below CSS code.

    .sh-title-style2 .sh-widget-title-styling h4 {
        display: inline-block;
        vertical-align: top;
        position: relative;
        bottom: -2px;
        padding-bottom: 15px;
        margin-bottom: 0;
        border-bottom: 2px solid #505050;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        font-weight: 900;
    }

    Hi,

    I’ve just applied the CSS code to style the h4 widget. It worked perfectly for the footer.

    Where issue still there is on the quick articles section (the thunder icon on the right section of the navigation menu). Could you please add something to the CSS code in order to apply the same configuration to this section?

    About one of the previous points from this ticket: FIXED TOC plugin.

    We applied to CSS code you gave us to disable the sticky sidebar, which is disabling all the website. This, add to another CSS code that gave us the plugin’s developer has fixed the issue. The point here is that we need to habilitate in only one page the sticky sidebar, on the main review page https://www.thewanderlustmag.com/nuestras-reviews/

    Is it possible to habilitate the sticky sidebar only on this page? We need it there since users must see the filters at all times.

    Thank you again for your patience and help with these issues.

    Waiting for your response.

    Best regards,

    Nicholas L.

    Please change the shared CSS code as below.

    .sh-title-style2 .sh-widget-title-styling h5 {

        transform: none !important;

    Hi there!

    I’ve just changed both CSS code and now I can see everything properly.

    Thank you for your help!

    I consider all the issues from this ticket solved.

    We keep in touch.
