1)How can I put the Login menu and the language (PT, EN) on the right side of the magnifying glass?

2) I have version 2.5.6 installed, can I update to version 4.0 without losing all the data entered (texts, images …)?

Yes it’s recommended to use child theme so that theme update won’t overwrite the changes you have made.
