    Hi,

I have a blog with thousands of content (posts), and I am planning to use Gillion Theme.

Currently, I have difficulties to modify the Magazine theme. I installed the demo here: https://dev.creativedisc.com, and I can’t find how to modify it, especially the Home page.

I tried to make my articles appear in the slideshows. So I unpublished the demo articles and hoping that my articles will be automatically appear. But unfortunately, they don’t.

I checked if the demo articles have specific tag to make them appear, but I can’t find it.

I also would like to change the categories name on the Home page. For example on:

    • Top categories name: I would like to change ‘Food’, ‘Cars’, ‘News’, ‘Lifestyle’ into my own categories
    • Best of tech and gadget: I would like to change it to my own category name
    • Also I would like to change ‘Fashion & Beauty’, ‘Life hacks’ into my own categories name

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @soyuzno,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The home page is created using WPBakery page builder so you have to edit the page using WPBakery page builder then you can edit its content.

You will find information about using WPBakery page builder on the below pages.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your help.

I have another question. I notice that all my blog posts don’t have categories after I switched to Gillion. I have around 18k posts, so I think it is troublesome to re-assign the categories into each posts.

Do you know what is the cause of this? I attached the screenshot for your reference.

    Thank you.

The categories, posts, pages or any content on your website are independent of theme so it doesn’t change on changing the theme.

Please troubleshoot on your site to find out what caused the issue and resolved it by restoring the site back up if you have any.
