I have a large and growing website with 5,000 pages under conversion. I don’t want to negatively impact my site by improperly upgrading from jevelin 2.1.2 (using the jevelin child theme!) to 2.4.6.
The installation doc in the support forum doesn’t address how to: (a) update if one is using a child theme, (b) How to backup/restore in the event of an update problem.
Please advise urgently b/c I have having numerous issues w/mobile platforms that may(?) be resolved in the latest release.

Hi Barry,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Before updating theme you can take full backup of your site from Tools -> Backup so that if anything goes wrong then you can restore it.
To install latest version of theme download following theme version and update your theme using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
