Hi,

I am trying to set the website homepage so that it shows a specific category, I have added the slug for the category chosen but it’s not filtering correctly please see attached my screenshot of backend and here is the front end: http://newem.e-media.asia/ Clients section

Also note I am using WP bakery.

    Hi @E-Media,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

It seems to display fine for me on your shared site as shown in the attached screenshot.

Could you please tell me what is wrong with it?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hi,

So for instance on this page: It should show only Web Design Projects and the category for this the slug is:

The home page: http://newem.e-media.asia/ Should show the category: home

This page: http://newem.e-media.asia/web-design-development/#portfolio should show the category web-design-development

This page: http://newem.e-media.asia/videography-photography-service/#photo should show the category photography-work

This page: http://newem.e-media.asia/clients-and-social-media-marketing-case-studies/#clients should show all categories but photography-work and web-design-development

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?

    Not at all. Please do.

After troubleshooting on your site, I could confirm the issue on my test site therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.

The issue will be fixed ASAP.

    Still not sorting. Please advice.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Jevelin theme.

Please make sure you are using category name and not slug as displayed in the attached screenshot.

    Good afternoon,

We did update the theme and it is now

Version: 4.0.2

But still not sorting. Home page is the perfect example.

Are you using category name or category slugs?

Could you please share me the screenshot of it?

Please make sure you are using category name and not slug as displayed in the above shared screenshot.

I logged into your site and saw you were still using theme version 4.0.2 so I updated it to below latest version 4.0.3 and the portfolio started working fine as displayed in the attached screenshot.

    Could you please confirm it?
