How can I change layout of the page search results? In particular on which side the sidebar is located and the number of search results displayed per page?

To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the search.php file of Jevelin child theme.

Shufflehound teamI don’t fully understand. The search result page shows the sidebar right and displays just 6 posts. Is that by default and can’t change?
You can’t change this just for search results page as you have to develop custom code to achieve this.
If you want to change it on all pages then you can do so by configuring the settings as displayed in the attached screenshots.
