    Hello!

I have a question about the permalinks, to go to the portfolio page and the single portfolio item page.

I would love to have a easy link structure. So when you go to the portfolio page for a overview of the projects the link should be: mywebsite.nl/project/ and when you go to a specific project I think the link should be: mywebsite.nl/project/my-project.

But unfortunately this is not working. I don’t understand why those links can’t have the same structure. Now I have to change one of them to /projecten/, which is not very good for the SEO of the specific website.

Could you please help me to fix this, or is there no solution?

Hope to hear from you soon, Thank you in advance!

    Hi @Rianne_2593,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I am not sure I understood your question properly so could you please describe it a bit more by sharing the screenshots?

Also, could you please share the page URL from your site where it is displaying?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hello,

i’m sorry. I’m going to try to explain it more clearly.

The site i’m talking about is: http://testsite.warmtebouw.nl/

At the moment the portfolio-overview is on the link: http://testsite.warmtebouw.nl/project/

But when you go to a specifiek project the url is: http://testsite.warmtebouw.nl/projecten/thialf-heerenveen/

I would love to have the structure of the url’s the same. So either way both /project/ or both /projecten/. But when I do that the project overview page isn’t reachable and goes automatically to the front-page.

So my question was if there is a solution for this.

I hope you understand my problem. Thank you in advance!

You can create a separate page projecten as a projects page and add its ID in the theme settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

Unfortunately i’ve already tried to work with that. I also changed the permalinks. But when I make the url’s the same, the project overview page isn’t reachable and goes automatically to the front-page.

I can see you have added the project base and project page slug the same which seems to cause the issue so please try using it differently.
