I have subscription fields at the bottom and middle of my site but I can’t figure out where and how to edit the one in the middle of my site.

Never mind. I think I found it. But I still can’t figure out how to change the background image
I don’t like the weird box and image within the box that houses the text. How can I make the text stand alone? See attached. Sorry for my scrawly text

You have to edit that element and remove the image from its settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
I have removed the image now.
