Statements in blog post list items are not truncated.
In English sentences it is properly truncated and the truncated part is displayed as “…”.

It is not truncated in Japanese sentences and all sentences will be displayed.
    Please see the attached image.

Is there a setting related to truncation somewhere?

    Hi @gchestnut,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

No there isn’t any truncation settings but you can try changing blog post description length in the theme Blog settings as displayed in the attached screenshots.

How are you adding Japanese content on your site?

Could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is displaying so that I can help you?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

I confirmed Description Length setting and it was 45, but Japanese text was not truncated.

The text below is 60 character Japanese. Could you confirm the behavior on your env with using the text?

    ああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああああ

Answering your question about how to add Japanese content.

I have installed 2 pages for English and Japanese on my site. By separating the category of blog post for English and Japanese, controlling which page will be displayed.

I could confirm the issue on my test site that shared Japanese characters are not truncated  therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.

The issue will be fixed ASAP.

Is this issue fixed? I update the theme to 4.4.1 today, but it seems not fixed yet.
